Hot Dog Burnt Ends are the ultimate BBQ cheat code, turning simple hot dogs into bite-sized, smoky, saucy, buttery flavor bombs. Perfect for game days, backyard cookouts, or a fun snack!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pack of beef hot dogs
  • 2 tbsp BBQ rub
  • 4 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. Slice hot dogs into 1.5-inch chunks and toss with BBQ rub.
  2. Cook on a smoker or grill at 225°F for 30 minutes, or in the oven at 250°F for 30 minutes.
  3. Transfer to a foil pan and coat with melted butter, brown sugar, BBQ sauce, and honey.
  4. Return to smoker, grill, or oven for 15–20 minutes until caramelized.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

You can add cayenne for spice, Worcestershire for depth, or maple syrup for extra sweetness. Works great in an air fryer too!
