I bought these for the few times a year I use serving dishes and they will be ideal for that to protect the table. I’m not sure they would be strong enough for every day use as they bend easily and look like they could easily break

Ordered these and the pricier set, and you can tell these are the cheaper set. These are rougher in texture, and shed a load of cork dust from the edges. Hopefully that was just because they were new, but time will tell.
They’re still a decent thickness, so will protect my table well enough, but I’m using them for standing a fruit bowl on for example, rather than for meal times.
They do the job well enough for the price.

These are not strong and are easily split. Not ideal for daily use. Not suitable for children

Not attractive to use on their own and quite delicate for every day but i bought them to go under cloth place mats to give better protection to a mahogany table. Ideal for this and don’t create a hump underneath as so thin

These were a little disappointing as they were very thing and floppy and while not expensive not sure if they really were worth the money. I decided to keep them only because all I am doing with them is using them to stand my slow cooker and air fryer on. I can’t see that they would withstand any other use
