  • Yield: 24 meatballs 1x

Description

Juicy meatballs smothered in a smoky-sweet BBQ sauce enriched with beerโ€”perfect for parties, game days, or comforting dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground beef (90/10)
  • 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk (whole or plant-based)
  • 2 eggs
  • 3โ€“5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite variety)
  • 1 cup beer (medium-bodied lager or pale ale)
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp extra salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF and lightly grease or line a baking dish.
  2. Soak breadcrumbs in milk for 5 minutes in a small bowl.
  3. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, soaked Panko, garlic, eggs, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
  4. Shape into meatballs using a cookie scoop and place in baking dish.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk BBQ sauce, beer, Sriracha, and extra salt until smooth.
  6. Pour sauce over meatballs and bake uncovered for 35โ€“40 minutes, or until internal temp reaches 160ยฐF.
  7. Optional: Cook in a slow cooker on low for 5 hours.

Notes

Use medium-bodied beers like lagers or pale ales for best flavor. Avoid overmixing to keep meatballs tender. These taste even better the next day!
